Welcome to this online guide curated by the Cardinal Carter Library, created to celebrate the scholarly publications of members of the faculty of King's University College. Please help us fill any gaps and keep this guide current by sending your comments, corrections and/or new publications.

Criteria for Inclusion

The Cardinal Carter Library compiles a listing that celebrates the academic publications of King’s University College faculty. Your continued assistance in gathering information for inclusion on this page will help us ensure that it is accurate and comprehensive. In consultation with the Principal, Vice-Principal and Academic Dean, Associate Academic Dean and EPC members, the following criteria for inclusion is determined:

Publications included: 
Articles in refereed journals, chapters in refereed books and refereed authored or edited books, papers published in conference proceedings. 

Publications excluded: 
Articles in non-refereed journals, dissertations (unless published by an academic publisher), book reviews, conference papers delivered, newspaper and newsmagazine articles, technical papers, interviews, lectures, website publications, social media.  

Coverage: 
All qualified publications by current full-time faculty and faculty emeriti. 

Peer Review/Refereed:

Peer Review is the impartial and independent evaluation and assessment of research and outputs related to research by colleagues or contemporaries with knowledge and/or experience in the field. It is an essential element of research and the self-regulation of professions. (Adapted from the University of Oxford, UK)
