Admission is competitive and enrollment is limited. Possession of the minimum requirements as listed here should not be viewed as a guarantee of admission.
Applicants who wish to be considered for admission to Western University on the basis of Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations must submit the following:
CAPE Certifying Statement of Performance issued to Western directly from the CXC. Applications are available on the CXC website. Certificates must be official. Photocopies are acceptable if certified by school principal, head, or counsellor. Notarized copies are not acceptable.
Note: Preliminary Result Slips will be used for a preliminary evaluation of the final grades until the certificate / certifying statements become available in the Fall. Photocopies are acceptable if certified by school principal, head, or counsellor.
Applicants may be considered for conditional admission on the basis of predicted results. Predicted Unit 2 results, final Unit 1 results and CSEC must be submitted directly to Western from the institution(s) attended.
CAPE Predicted Results Form:
This online form must be completed by either a Counsellor or Principal from the applicant’s school. CAPE results submitted by an applicant will not be accepted.
