Residence Staff and Services
A residence team of professional and student staff is on site to help you. The Residence Assistant in your unit can help you with just about anything from academics to contacting the right campus resource. Students can drop by the Residence Office for assistance during regular office hours and after 9 pm Wednesday to Saturday. Staff is on call after hours to respond to any unexpected situations.

Physical Plant Staff
King’s has physical plant staff on site to attend to any repair or key replacement needs that may arise. Residents can complete online work requests for any repair or maintenance issues that may arise, including light bulb or smoke alarm battery replacements, at https://www.kucits.ca/ppWorkRequest
ARAMARK Canada is proud to provide food services for the King’s community. Multiple service points, daily specials, off-campus partners, on-site Café 54 and Subway offer great options for your dining pleasure. Food service locations are located on the lower level of Wemple Hall and in the King Student Life Centre.
Our housekeeping staff takes great pride in keeping our residence buildings clean. Residence washrooms and common areas are cleaned daily (weekdays) for your convenience. Housekeepers also vacuum and dust residence rooms on a weekly schedule.
Residence Information Desk (RID)

Located in the lobby of Alumni Court, the Residence Information Desk, the RID, serves all residence students. The RID, open from 2 p.m. to 7 a.m. daily, has a number of functions including:
- Emergency response. Call the RID immediately should an emergency arise. RID staff will dispatch residence, security and emergency personnel.
- Complaint response. Call the RID to report noise issues, a serious maintenance issue, or any suspicious activity on campus.
- Key borrowing service if you misplace your keys or get locked out of your room
- Free borrowing service. Residents can sign out sports equipment, movies, game systems, cleaning supplies, academic resources, board games and more.
Stinson security staff is on campus 24 hours per day. 7 days per week. Guards patrol campus and are available to respond to any security matters students may report. Guards are in radio contact with the Residence Information Desk and the Residence Staff on rounds, in addition to having direct contact with Campus Police.
