ITR Coffee with your Counsellor

Intent to Register (ITR) information sessions run from February 1-March 31. They are meant to help students with any questions or concerns they may have surrounding ITR. 

  • Attend as many departmental sessions as possible
  • Attend an Academic Dean’s Office (ADO) session to get general ITR information (dates below) – these issues will not be covered in departmental sessions. 
  • It is your responsibility to make use of the information provided at these sessions, use the online calendar, and the website above when planning your program and course selections.
  • Summer School: Students wanting counselling about what courses they should take in Summer School should attend an ADO Session.
  • Most first-year classes will hold in-class information sessions

Tuesday, February 6 from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m. in LH101.
Thursday, February 15 from Noon-1 p.m. in DL130.
Monday, March 5 from 4:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m. in W166.
Thursday, March 15 from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. in Vitali Student Lounge.
Tuesday, March 20 from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. in Vitali Student Lounge.

The Academic Counsellors will discuss:

  • How to do an Intent to Register (ITR)
  • Module combinations and degree types
  • Breadth requirements
  • Summer school
  • Progression requirements

Note: First-year students are expected to attend one of these information sessions. Students will be able to gain credit for their attendance on their Co-Curricular record.

Social Work Presentation

Wednesday, March 7 from 3 p.m.-4 p.m. in DL130.
Open to all students.
The BSW information session is intended to provide info about the BSW program at King’s, students can ask questions regarding the application process and eligibility requirements. Sam Pearson will be the presenter.
