Recent COVID-19 Updates @ King's
At King’s, we have a working group of senior leaders on COVID-19. The group has been meeting daily, on this topic along with following the latest information from trusted sources. King's updates can be found here.
The Middlesex London Health Unit continues to assess the COVID-19 situation in London. For full details of the situation in our city please visit https://www.healthunit.com/news/novel-coronavirus and specifically for the wider Western University community please visit https://www.uwo.ca/coronavirus/
As our country continues to take precautions to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we are also working together with the wider Western family to do all we can to ensure the health and safety of our community.
We make our decisions on how to operate campus and to finish the academic term with the best interests of our students, faculty and staff in mind. We are doing everything we can to stay on top of the situation via information from the Middlesex-London Health Unit.
King's is sanitizing all areas around the college, including classrooms, meeting rooms, and offices, and we are subsequently locking them down. Unless deemed necessary, please refrain from coming to campus on-site. The fewer people on campus, the easier it is to control sanitation. If you must return to campus, please notify security so any area you visit can be re-sanitized.
We can all do our part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. As always, please wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, cough into your sleeve, avoid handshakes, avoid touching your face and stay home if you are sick.
