The Alumni Association is hosting a Niagara-on-the-Lake battlefields tour in honour of Canada’s 150th celebration.
Saturday, May 27, 2017
10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
8:30 a.m. bus from London
This one-of-a-kind War of 1812 battlefields tour will be led by Dr. Graham Broad, Associate Professor of History, and will include stops at multiple historic locations in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
|8:30 a.m.||Bus departs from King’s University College|
|10:30 a.m.||Meet at Queenston Heights. Tour begins, led by Professor Graham Broad|
|11:15 a.m.||Drive to and Tour Fort George|
|1:00 p.m.||Walk to Lunch at The Irish Harp Pub|
|3:00 p.m.||Walk to and Tour to Niagara Historical Society Museum|
|4:15 p.m.||Walk to and Tour St. Mark’s Church|
|5:30 p.m.||Tour concludes. Bus departs for London|
- Entrance fees to all stops on the tour are compliments of the King’s University College Alumni Association.
- Participants will be responsible for the cost of their lunch at The Irish Harp Pub.
- Complimentary bus transportation from London is available. Please reserve your seat when registering for the event.
- Those wishing to drive to the event are asked to park at Queenston Heights. The bus will take all participants to the battlefields tour, and will return to Queenston Heights before heading back to London.
