When looking at employment positions that could be attained with a SJPS degree, be sure to extend your search beyond the following resources.  There are possibly a number of organizations or service agencies in your community that would be interested in SJPS students.  The following list will not list the majority of organizations that work for social justice and peace on local levels however, listed here are groups that may be of interest when looking for employment.  The Job Databases are a great place to start but they are certainly not exhaustive.

Jobs / Opportunities (Head Office UK):  There are periodic employment opportunities and volunteer positions with the International Secretariat of Amnesty International, which is based in the UK. The International Secretariat is Amnesty International's global centre for research, campaigning, legal, lobbying and membership work. Development and Peace

Mission Statement:  The Canadian Catholic Organization for Development and Peace, a democratic movement for international solidarity, supports partners in the Third World in the pursuit of alternatives to unjust social, political and economic structures.  It educates the Canadian population about the causes of impoverishment of peoples and mobilizes actions for change.
