Unity Project
About
The Unity Project offers resources and support to people experiencing homelessness ages 16 and up. The Unity project believes that homelessness does not define the person and works to provide programming that enables participants to take care of themselves, each other and community.
Impact
Students working with the Unity Project play an active role in support and and the day to day functioning of the shelter. Students learn more deeply about housing and homelessness, the services offered in London and how to advocate on issues related to poverty. Students gain skills in peer based programming, public education and policy development.
