Prof. Rowat studied at the University of Ottawa’s Department of English, receiving the Hons. B.A. (1995) and M.A. (1996), before undertaking additional graduate work at Western, as a recipient of a doctoral SSHRCC research grant. At King’s, Prof. Rowat teaches Writing 1020, Introduction to University Essay Writing.
