Partnered with Sisters of St. Joseph, King's will be hosting the United Nations GIFT (Global Initiative to Fight Trafficking) Box. The GIFT Box is a unique piece of public art that stands in solidarity with survivors of human trafficking. It is a piece of art that allows for the display of stories from human trafficking survivors. The GIFT Box was originally launched by Stop the Traffik and UN.GIFT during the London 2012 Olympics, and Faith Alliance to End Human Trafficking was the first Canadian organization to host the GIFT Box during the 2015 Parapan/Pan Am Games.

The GIFT Box will be set up from January 18th to January 27th, 2017, in the lobby of Labatt Hall. The opening ceremony will take place on Wednesday, January 18th at 10am. The event is open to the public, and we would be very pleased to have you visit the GIFT Box in order to raise further awareness to the London community about human trafficking.
