Than Clan Death Cafe
A death cafe is a space where everyone should feel welcome to discuss their feelings and thoughts on all things related to death, dying, grief and bereavement. This event will consist of group discussion, sharing with others your responses to some prompting questions we will provide. This is a time to share ideas, feelings, memories, experiences and questions or concerns you may have related to the topics covered in our study of Thanatology.
Death cafe's are not grief groups, but rather to break the social taboo against speaking about death openly and with others. There are limited rules and guidelines when it comes to death cafe's, we invite you to take your own approach to answering and sharing with your groups, feel free to share as much or little as you would like.
We will also be providing some delicious snacks, beverages, and cake!
