Research Week 2019

Throughout the week of March 23rd to 30th, 2019 the first annual Research Week will take place at King’s University College, as well as in the London community. A truly collaborative effort, Research Week is one component of the broader goal of enhancing the culture of undergraduate research endeavours at King’s to celebrate class-based research and experiential learning. Research Week also allows for the King’s community to immerse themselves in the exceptional work of students, and serves as a source of information for younger students looking to get involved in research. From Saturday, March 23 to Thursday, March 28, classes in the departments of Social Justice and Peace Studies, Sociology and Criminology, Psychology and History are scheduled to showcase students’ research endeavours. Finally, on Saturday, March 30, Research Week will conclude with the King’s Undergraduate Research Conference, in which individual students can apply to present independent research. By facilitating events such as Research Week and the King’s Undergraduate Research Conference, student leaders and administration hope provide students with fundamental professional experience that will distinguish them as graduates of King’s University College.
