King's at Rondine Information Session

The King’s at Rondine seminar is an opportunity for students to learn in a global peace and conflict resolution centre, where youth from across the world live and work on strategies to promote peace and sustainability.  This course focuses on challenges that youth face as leaders in global conflict resolution.  Rondine is located in Arezzo, Italy; it is a Nobel-prize nominated centre that focuses on eradicating conflict by focusing on cultural, ethnic and political engagement.  Students will participate in this seminar virtually this year; learning activities include workshops with youth from around the world, lectures by internationally recognized faculty, interdisciplinary research projects and virtual visits to the Vatican Centre for Migrants and Refugees, and other European NGOs working on current global crises.  Dr. Mark Yenson and Dr. Pietro Pirani will be leading this year’s King’s at Rondine Seminar.  This course is listed as a winter course which also includes intersession workshops and symposia.

A virtual information session will be held on October 28, at 5 p.m.  For more information and a Zoom link to this meeting, please contact Dr. Allyson Larkin, alarkin2@uwo.ca or Dr. Mark Yenson, myenson@uwo.ca
