Bell Let's Talk Day

Although things may look and feel different this year, mental health matters now more than ever. King’s recognizes that the COVID-19 pandemic has left many struggling with isolation, fear and uncertainty. We are committed to supporting students, faculty and staff today and beyond.

Throughout the day of January 28th, King’s will be running a social media campaign promoting and drawing attention to the multitude of mental health and wellness resources that are available to students, staff, and faculty. The campaign will also be generating engagement and facilitating connections among members of the King’s community by asking them to join the conversation, take part in a virtual photo booth, and help end the stigma about mental illness.

  • Students, staff, and faculty will receive email care packages containing helpful videos, activities and information about the specific mental health and wellness resources that are available to them as members of the King’s community.
  • A virtual photo booth will go live at 10 a.m., enabling the King’s community to take pictures, wear a digital Bell Let’s Talk Day toque, and share messages about how they are taking care of themselves. Students, staff, and faculty are also encouraged to share their photos on social media using the hashtags #BellLetsTalk, #KingCares, #WellnessatKings and #IGoToKings, and #CarryOnKings.
