The process to select the next Principal of King’s University College is underway. This process begins at an exciting time for King’s. The recently approved Strategic Plan A Place to Be, A Place to Become (2017-2024) promises to meet many important goals and objectives for King’s to move the mission of the institution forward. That mission states that:

King’s is a public Catholic University College engaged in the open pursuit of truth and the discovery and sharing of knowledge in service to humanity. By integrating academic programs rooted in the liberal arts with comprehensive student support, King’s creates an inclusive and empowering space for students by nourishing their capacity for critical thought, articulate expression, creativity, and ethical action.

Our next Principal will be a leader who can embrace this mission and continue to move King’s forward to be a place of exceptional scholarship, of teaching that effectively engages the minds and hearts of our students, and comprehensive, supportive programming that offers a transformative experience for all members of the College community.

The Principal Selection Committee is tasked with seeking out and recommending to the Board of Directors the next Principal of King’s. Various groups within the King’s community have selected individuals who will join the Selection Committee and move this process forward for the benefit of King’s. As the Committee undergoes this important work please stay up to date by visiting this page. Most importantly, please keep the members of the Committee in your prayers for clear discernment and the ability to have open, constructive conversations with each other for the good of King’s. There will be opportunities for all community members to submit feedback and engage with the Committee. Invitations to submit feedback on various items, including the profile of the next Principal, will be circulated widely when available.

Thank you for your interest in this process. Please stay tuned for more information as we move forward together to fulfill the mission of King’s.

Please contact Julie Horne, Director of Human Resources, or Andrew Jardine, Secretary to the Board of Directors, with any questions regarding the search process at this time.
