The second-term Student Questionnaire on Courses and Teaching (SQCT), which runs from March 21 – April 9, 2022, will give students an opportunity to provide feedback. At the same time, they will be able to positively affect King’s going forward. The results will assist departments and schools with course planning. Because results are available to students, they will be able to use the information for course selection.

“Student responses to the SQCT matter as their feedback is vital in impacting course development and program design for the upcoming academic year at King’s,” says Fiona Cheong, Academic Dean’s Office.

Students will receive a link to the online survey via email from Western University. The survey will focus on each of their courses and instructors’ teaching. Because the surveys are anonymized by Western, the instructor will be unable to associate the feedback with individual students.

The survey consists of 15 questions including four demographic questions and 11 scaled questions. Two comment boxes will also be provided to allow for written comments from students.

Faculty will give students 15 minutes at the beginning of each class for students to respond on their devices. The survey can be completed on any device, on or off campus. It should take between three to five minutes to complete the questionnaires.

Students who complete at least one SQCT using the Your Feedback system between March 21 – April 9, 2022, will be entered into a random prize draw for one of five $500 Amazon.ca Gift Cards. Each questionnaire completed during the three-week feedback period will count as one entry into the draw.
