As in year’s past, new full-time members of the King’s faculty participated in a special orientation to better acquaint themselves with the services and programs available to the King’s community. This year, due to COVID-19, that orientation was held via Zoom on July 6. 2020.

During the Orientation, faculty members received information from Dr. Laura Melnyk Gribble, Acting Vice-Principal and Academic Dean, Joe Henry, Dean of Students, and Faculty Association Representative Dr. Stephanie Bangarth. The new faculty were provided with short training modules on Information Technology Services, the Cardinal Carter Library, Faculty Resource OWL and Faculty Extranet.

King’s is pleased to welcome the following faculty as of July 1, 2020:

  • Joanna Andrejkow – School of MEM -Accounting
  • Daniella Bendo – Interdisciplinary Programs – Childhood and Social Institutions
  • Jane Sanders – School of Social Work
  • Justin Tetrault - Sociology
  • Dr. Loretta Norton – Psychology 
  • Dr. Russell Duvernoy – Philosophy
  • Dr. Sherry Smith – Interdisciplinary Programs – Thanatology

The following faculty will be full-time at King’s as of January 1, 2021:

  •  Dr. Renfang Tian – School of MEM – Economics
  • Dr. Lori Murray – School of MEM – Mathematics
