The King’s campus is buzzing as preparations for Homecoming 2012 are in full-swing. Homecoming 2012 will take place over Friday, September 28 – Sunday, September 30 at various locations across campus and in London.  Please join us as we reflect on fond memories of the past and create new ones for the future.

All class years ending in 2 or 7 have a special incentive to attend this year, as they will be celebrating anniversary years!  There are various reunions and activities taking place over the course of the weekend for those celebrating an anniversary.

We hit the campus to find out what students are most anticipating as Homecoming approaches:

“What I am looking forward to is being on the sidelines at the game because homecoming is the greatest experience, I remember last year it was just amazing.”
Blake Huggins – 2nd year student majoring in Criminology and minoring in Sociology

“The thing I am most looking forward to about homecoming is letting loose with my friends in social work and enjoying the last day of freedom for the rest of the year.”
Ashley Van Den Eynden – 3rd year student, School of Social Work

“I have been there four times and I think it is really exciting and  the thing I look most forward to is the game and all the purple.”
Tianqi Xu – 4th year student

“My favourite thing about homecoming is the football game, I just love the school spirit. It almost goes back to that high school feeling, that is my favourite thing.”
Tim Smuck – 3rd year student honours specialization in Political Science
