Megan Shore, Associate Professor of Social Justice and Peace Studies, and Religious Studies just returned from a speaking tour in England. She was invited to be part of the keynote panel for The Society for the Study of Theology annual meeting at the University of Nottingham. The Society for the Study of Theology is the leading British organization for theologians in academy, church and society. The panel was on "Creative Approaches to Peacebuilding," and Megan spoke on the role religion played in South Africa's Truth and Reconciliation. She also gave a public lecture at York St. John University in York entitled, "Religion and Peace".
