Social Justice and Peace Studies (SJPS) will be hosting their annual clothing swap on February 26, 2020 from 11:00- 4:00 p.m. in the Student Life Centre.

Everyone from the King’s community is encouraged to bring in clothing they no longer wear and would like to donate. During this clothing swap, students will be given the opportunity to both clean out their closets and choose from a large selection of donated clothes. By the end of the day, all leftover clothing will be donated to a local non-profit organization.

The event is organized as a way to reduce waste and cut carbon footprints, as it decreases the demands for water and energy used in clothing production. The SJPS Clothing Swap is is both environmentally friendly and an affordable way to obtain clothing.

Social Justice and Peace Studies will be providing complimentary coffee and tea all day, so bring your own mug to reduce plastic!
