King's University College is now an Employer Partner with the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI), which provides us with a number of benefits that will support us on our diversity and inclusion journey.

The Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion is a nonprofit social organization committed to research and education to help Canadian workplaces move from diversity to inclusion. Their mission is to encourage workplaces to become "inclusive, free of prejudice and discrimination and to generate the awareness, dialogue and action for people to recognize that diversity is an asset and not an obstacle."

An Employer Partnership with CCDI helps to advance King’s goal of building an inclusive and diverse community. This aligns with the College’s commitment to advancing principles of equity, diversity, inclusion, and decolonization (EDID) institution wide as per the EDID position paper that was approved at College Council in September 2021.

Our partnership with CCDI will provide employees, faculty and students with the following benefits:

  • CCDI monthly newsletter – Diversity Ink. CCDI’s monthly newsletter provides information about CCDI events and research, and other pertinent news from the Canadian diversity and inclusion realm. Click here to subscribe.
  • CCDI Knowledge Repository – As part of the “Members Only” portal on their website, CCDI has an e-library with over 1,000 documents containing Canadian-specific and international diversity and inclusion research, reports, toolkits and news, which are indexed and searchable by multiple parameters (e.g., by keyword, by topic, etc.).
