Ottawa, ON - Four Mustangs were part of a West 35-17 win in the 2019 East-West Bowl at Carleton University.

The game serves as the Canadian Football League top prospects game.

Bleska Kambamba, Dylan Giffen, Marc Liegghio & Brett Ellerman were all part of the game along with Head Coach Greg Marshall who led the winning side.

Kambamba tied for the game lead with 6 tackles on the defensive side of the ball, Liegghio averaged 60.7 yards on kick-offs while Ellerman had 2 receptions for 35 yards.

It was the fourth straight victory for the West and improved their record to 11-6 in the annual event which began in 2003.

The Mustangs now spend the summer preparing for the 2019 football season which kicks off Sunday, August 25th when they head to Laurier for a 1:00pm start.
