The Write Place
Welcome to The Write Place website!
We are committed to helping all students become better writers. Students from all disciplines can come in during any stage of the writing process for help with any assignment.
What we do:
Our trained peer tutors give feedback on many aspects of writing: rather than editing we help students to become better writers. We focus on areas such as clarity and cohesion. We would never presume to state whether a paper is “good”- a subjective term. We listen and provide our honest opinion. We are a free and confidential service provided by the Modern Languages Department.
About the appointment:
Please bring the assignment sheet and a hard copy of your work. We do not work with laptops or electronic copies. Appointments are generally 50 minutes in length. We do work with drop-ins; however, during busier periods of the school year an appointment is recommended.

Location and Hours:
We are located in Wemple 059 (the hallway leading to the cafeteria). Our hours of operation are Monday – Thursday from 10am- 6pm and Friday 10am – 3pm in W059, as well as Wednesday evenings from 6pm – 9pm in the Cardinal Carter Library.
