Children’s Sunday Program (Ages 4 to 7)
This is a wonderful opportunity for children aged 4 through 7 to learn about their faith and their Catholic values in a way they can understand. By creating an atmosphere where children are safe and comfortable, each child can take part singing songs, learning new prayers and discovering the many celebrations in the life of the church.
Youth Group (Ages 8 to 13)
There are two age groups in our youth program: Ages 8 to 11 and Ages 12 to 13. We meet two Fridays a month at 6:30 p.m. at King’s University College.
AGES 8 TO 11 PROGRAM: Together, with our youth leaders they will enjoy an evening of activities that are both faith orientated and fun for everyone. We hope to provide a safe and positive space for your children to learn and grow with others in the context of our shared faith and belief.
AGES 12 TO 13 PROGRAM: If your children are 12 or 13, it is important to prepare them for the years ahead. It’s the perfect time for them to step forward and become leaders and mentors in their elementary schools. This group will give them valuable leadership experience and an opportunity to develop skills that will help them make the transition to high school. As they interact with our youth leaders, we look toward developing their communication skills so that they will be able to communicate more effectively, encouraging them to live in service of one another as Christ did. Throughout the year your children will have opportunities where they can learn to lead by example (for instance in interactions with the younger youth group), and to build community and enjoy themselves as they share in fun, faith-filled activities that are relevant to their concerns and needs.
Leadership Program (Ages 14 to 17)
Are you a high school studentlooking for somewhere to complete your volunteer hours or maybe just looking to serve those in your community? Then our Leadership Program is for you!
It will give you the opportunity to serve the community doing a variety of projects and at the same time, to obtain the volunteer hours you need for your diploma. It is also a great way to prepare for your decision of whether to pursue post-secondary education or enter the workforce. Please feel free to bring a friend or two, everyone is welcome.
