Message From The Director of the School of Social Work

Peter DonahueOn behalf of our faculty and staff, I would like to thank you for your interest in the MSW program at King’s.  Our curriculum provides a solid academic and practice foundation for those who seek graduate-level preparation for social work practice. It meets the curriculum standards of the Canadian Association for Social Work Education (CASWE), as well as the anticipated needs of our profession.  This is a wonderful place for learning: a place where you can push conceptual boundaries, explore new territory, and enhance your skills.

I am confident, given our small size and the quality and commitment of our faculty to teaching, that our school will provide you with a warm and stimulating environment. King’s offers you an MSW program that will enhance the level of your professional competence and contribute to your personal growth.

With best wishes,

Peter Donahue, MSW, PhD, RSW
Graduate Program Chair
Director - School of Social Work
