When traveling out of the country, it is important to have necessary immunizations and be informed of the various health risks in the country being visited. Immunization or travel clinics specialize in vaccinations, provide travel advice, immunizations and pre-travel medical assessments. A travel clinic is located at the Middlesex Health Unit, 50 King St E. There is often a long waiting list for an appointment at the travel clinic at the Middlesex Health Unit and students should and immunizations against various diseases may be given over a period of time. Because of this, students should book an appointment well in advance.
