Outgoing International Exchange Financing
The cost for each international program varies and a program may be more affordable than initially expected. For student exchange programs with international partner universities, international student fees are waived and tuition is paid directly to The University of Western Ontario. This is also the situation for volunteer abroad opportunities through the Social Justice and Peace department at King’s University College. Various volunteer and study abroad programs require a financial contribution to contribute towards the cost of transportation, food and accommodation. This cost is frequently covered or lessened through fundraising, both individual and group.
International Study Award
King's University College recognizes the merits of international study and will grant a $750 bursary to any student participating in an international exchange, study abroad or volunteer abroad program lasting less than a year, and a $1,500 bursary for a full year program. The International Study Award is available to King’s students and an application is available from Student Financial Services.
