Move-In Day

Welcome to King's! It's move-in day!

The time is for move-in is 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Please note that late arrivals will be assisted by residence staff, but move in help will not be available.

Today's agenda includes:

• Residence key pick-up - starts at 10 a.m. in the parking lot at the corner of Epworth and Waterloo (rain location Wemple Building)
• FREE BBQ - 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Alumni Court parking lot
• Parent Orientation - 1 p.m. Labatt Hall. Presentation by Joe Henry, Dean of Students

• Residence Students:

  • Meet with in your residence units at 1 pm

  • Join the Residence Opening Welcome at 2-3 pm in Kenny theatre

• Off-Campus Students:

  • OC Info Session in Labatt Hall 2-3 pm

• King's opening ceremonies - 3 p.m. in Kenny Theatre.  Meet the Sophs, King’s Officials, and learn more about Orientation Week plans. Western cheerleaders will be there as well.
• King's tours and tie-dye - 5-7 p.m. - Sophs will lead tours of King's. There will be a stop for dinner (students will need to pay for dinner – cash or meal card) and a stop to tie-dye their white HBK shirts for the Affiliates event later in the week.
• Purple Kick Off – 7 pm King’s Sophs and Students will meet up with new students from across campus at the Western Mustang Football team opening game
• Games Night – 9-11 pm, Student Life Centre
• Dance – 9-11 pm  King Student Life Centre (lower level)

Enrolment Services will be open from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
