“Walking in the Light of Christ” CST Retreat
On February 2nd, the third and fourth year Catholic Studies for Teacher’s (CST) students gathered at the Michaelite house to participate in their prayer day. This retreat was a great opportunity to celebrate mass, lead by Fr. John Jasica, and also share our understanding of the theme “Walking in the Light of Christ” as we discussed with Dan Moynihan. By participating in this retreat we were able to leave behind our busy student lives and focus on building friendships and talking about our shared beliefs.
The CST program revolves around the integration of faith in teaching, and as future teachers, our retreat day focused on how to become better educators inspired by our beliefs. By strengthening our faith, we hope to inspire our future students and those in our communities in their faith filled journey.
