King’s Alumni Association recently organized a historic, Niagara-on-the-Lake tour. The tour of 49 alumni, led by Dr. Graham Broad, left at 8:30 a.m. from King’s University College and ended at 7:30 p.m. The 11-hour journey covered various historic sites like Queenston Heights, Fort George, Niagara Historical Society Museum, and St. Mark’s Anglican Church and cemetery. The participants could see the rich history as well as the scenic beauty of the area. As Canada approaches 150 years since Confederation, now is the perfect time to reflect on the past and be thankful for the sacrifices that have made this great nation.
