King’s Principal, Dr. David Sylvester, delivered the keynote lecture to the Presidents of Brazil's Catholic Universities at the ANEC (National Catholic Educators' Association) Annual Forum, held May 8-9th at the Pontifical University of Sao Paulo, Brazil.  PUC-Sao Paulo is a partner of King's and will be sending two third-year students to King's to study for the fall term. During the visit, King’s signed an agreement with ANEC. 

Dr. Sylvester also visited the Pontifical University of Minas Gerais in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.  PUC-Minas is a partner of King's and students from Belo Horizonte visited King's in 2013.  Thirty students will be studying at King's this summer. Dr. Sylvester met with the senior administration of the university and the faculty of the Department of International Relations and Law to discuss future research and exchange programs.  PUC-Minas is one of the largest Catholic universities in the world, with over 60,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs. 

King's representatives also held meetings at its partner university in Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) in order to develop programs to accept King's students and at the Paolo Freire Institute in Sao Paulo.
