Bon Voyage to our students and faculty who are heading overseas and into Northern Canada this summer. There are many experiential learning trips planned this term. Dr. Alan Pomfret is taking his Childhood and Social Institutions class to the United Kingdom at the beginning of May to visit our partner university, University of Winchester, England.

Dr. Pat Ryan is taking a group of Childhood and Social Institutions students to Malmo, Sweden from May 27 until June 3 as part of an experiential learning exchange with the University of Malmo. Dr. Allyson Larkin and Dr. Antonio Calcagno will be in Italy in May with Social Justice and Peace Studies’ students to learn Italian and study at Centre Rondine as well as visit the Vatican department of Integral Human Development. Dr. Laura Beres has departed to our partner university, Leeds Trinity with Masters of Social Work students until May 6. Dr. Thomas Tieku and Dr. Erin Hannah are going to Switzerland, France and Belgium from May 4th to May 14th with political science students to study the European Union.

King’s Campus Ministry, Religious Studies and their partners continue their work in the remote regions of Northern Saskatchewan near the Northwest Territories border. Rev. Michael Bechard leads a group of students and educational partners to Fond du Lack and Pine Channel, Sask., June 28th – July 12th
